Event Name: Run the Beat 5K
Event Description: SRRL Circuit Race. This race is a new to the SRRL race circuit for 2008. Start and Finish: Goold Park, 1000 Union Street, Morris, Illinois. Proceeds go to benefit the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics. The course is paved, fast, and flat. The last half mile is a slight down hill for a great stretch to the finish! Distance is USATF certified. Tshirts to every preregistererd participant. Awards given to top male and female finishers. Medals given to top three male and female finishers in 16 age catagories, 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, etc. to 80 and over. Parking available in Goold Park and the Morris High School parking lot located across the street. Contact Steve Huetteman for more information.
