Very cold today, the sun was so bright I wore sunglasses, big mistake. The hard plastic nosepiece made my nose very cold and the wind blew up underneath my stocking cap. I took them off and the temperature must of affected the plastic because somehow in the process of putting them in my pocket I broke them. Too bad those were good sunglasses for running.

Somehow, I forgot and ran on a busy street and had to get on the sidewalk. You would think I would know better. The sidewalks were covered with slick ice left over from a partial thaw. It was so slick in fact; I fell, fortunately not very hard, so I got up finished running. Maybe next time I will remember.
