The Quad City Times Bix 7 is

The Quad City Times Bix 7 is one of my favorite races. I remember when we used to line up back by the railroad tracks and finish in LeClaire Park. I remember walking though the park getting treats afterward. Now we line up closer to the River Center and finish in the Times parking lot. One of those times I got a 57something. I will never see that again either.

Quad City Distance Classic Half Marathon, The picture up there is me finishing the Distance Classic in 1989. I came so close to breaking 2 hours.
