About Prairie State Runner

I am a freelance web designer from Galesburg, IL. I have been running since 1985. I have never been spectacularly fast but bet I have had more fun than anyone else. I would spend all of my time working on this site if I could.
For many years I have been web master for Galesburg Road Runners Club but have been a board member since 1987. My wife Julie is club secretary a job she has had for many years. We both have volunteered for many jobs throughout the years.

I made Prairie State Runner because I have always wanted to have a community of runners from everywhere. I love going to races and talking to everyone, I miss this when we are at home during the week. I think it would be great to have conversations about PR’s and races or whatever. Please start your own blog or forum and join in. Also please add the races that your club puts on. I add as many as I can but it is a big job and I probably miss some.
